About Me

At the heart of it, I am an adventurer, an explorer, and a dreamer. I have been fascinated by the splendor of nature, sunrises, sunsets, and the night sky since I was seven years old. Having made the transition from casual photographer to a serious one just a few years ago, I am fortunate to be currently mentored by National Geographic photographer Colby Brown and professional photographer Pedro Kin. Their continued guidance and coaching has enabled me to push my creative boundaries in search of visual storytelling excellence through the lens.

To me, storytelling is an art. While anyone can snap a photo of the Empire State Building in New York City or the Cuerno Principal in Chilean Patagonia, as an artist I aim to capture mood and emotion, and communicate that to the viewer. This involves "chasing the light," often starting the day in pitch darkness, waiting for first light to illuminate a distant peak, exposing colors, shapes, and textures in the scene. For this reason, my work focuses almost exclusively on the hours between sunset and sunrise.

Please take a look at the Gallery section, and get in touch if anything inspires or interests you. All of the photos on the website are for sale. I am also happy to collaborate on any special projects you may have. Looking forward to hearing from you!
