Kevin Murray Golf Photography

Biography

"When I play a course for the first time, I'm looking for that great shot, that beautiful landscape picture that becomes much more than just an image of a golf hole. When golfers see one my pictures I want them to think that's a course I have to play, if it's a non golfer they think what a beautiful place"

Having studied Visual communication at art college, the three disciplines of Design, Photography and illustration have made up the central components of Kevin's professional career. Initially he started in London as an art director and through the years consistently calling on his skills within these three main disciplines, progressed to Creative director of several London agency's and then ultimately as CD of his own company. It would be at this stage of his career that his passion for golf and understanding of the creative industry would lead him to be the Creative Director of the European Callaway Golf account. Kevin sold his part of the business in 2003 and decided to set up a new company called Bandit Design. Still working on the European Callaway Golf account he started to look at taking his own photographs for business use. Already in a short space of time he has built up a substantial portfolio of images of all different types of golf courses.
Ultimately his idea is to cover as many courses as possible worldwide.
